We make our tags from vegan Ultrasuede. We use Ultrasuede® brand only and never faux suede. It’s the best material we have found on the market for branding tags. It does not fray. It does not fade. It is machine-washable and dryer-safe. It’s incredibly soft and sews easily by machine.
There are very few limitations as to what kind of tag we can make. As long as it will fit in our machine and be large enough to be legible, we can do it. Any size, any shape, custom holes, folding, flat, in-seam, etc. We can do it all.
Tag Styles
Our most popular tag style for fiber artists. Quickly brand your items with Chicago screws and skip sewing altogether. We have several different types of Chicago tags to choose from. They come in predetermined sizes and quantities which can be found in the section below. Not recommended for baby items.
Another great option for fiber artists. This type of label includes holes for easy hand-stitching. This includes patches and flat tags. We can add corner holes, perimeter holes, and custom holes. The quantity of tags per set depend on the desired tag size which can be found within the listing itself or the section below.
Our machine sew on tags are perfect for accessories and apparel that are already machine-sewn. This option does not include any holes. Our tags are very easy to sew by machine. The quantity of tags per set depend on the desired tag size which can be found in the section below.
Sizes/Quantities
We use a 12 X 12” sheet of Ultrasuede to cut our labels from. The quantity that you receive per set depends on the overall size of your label. The larger the label, the fewer you receive per set. The smaller the label, the more you receive per set. Here are some of our most common quantities and sizes.

Chicago Screws
We offer optional Chicago screws for our No-Sew Chicago Labels. They come in either bronze or black. They can easily be tightened by hand or you can use a screwdriver if you’d prefer. Backs may vary between phillips head or flat head.

Logo Design
If you have your own logo, great! We can accept most file types except for .ai. Please email us your logo to hello@angieandbritt.com after purchase. We don’t recommend complex/intricate detailed designs, watercolor designs, or actual photographs.
Don’t have a logo? No worries! We can design a simple one for you at no extra cost. It’s included in your set up/design fee. Whether you want simple text or a combination of a text and graphic, we have you covered. Read below for info.
Graphics
We can find most graphics requested. You can request a graphic during checkout by inputting something as simple as “a dog”. We use our handy design skills to find a type of graphic that pairs well with the font you have chosen to give your tag a cohesive design. We of course send you a proof where you can request something different if you don’t love it. You can also browse graphics through Canva if you’re looking for something specific. While you don’t have to pay anything, you are required to sign up for a Canva account to use our templates.
Disclaimer:
All of our designs that we create may be used by other customers. You will not legally own your logo. You can certainly use it in your branding, website, tags, etc. But we cannot keep other customers from using the same graphics and/or fonts that you choose. If you want to legally own your logo, you will need to have your logo professionally designed by a graphic designer that creates your design from scratch and can provide you with legal ownership of your design.
Fonts
Choosing a font can be extremely overwhelming. To make it easier to choose, we have narrowed down these to our top personal fonts for branding. However, we can use other fonts by request. You can click below to try your text in our favorite fonts and even browse other fonts if you want.

Any new design includes a single time design fee of $10. If you are ordering a new type of label that you have never ordered before, yes. If you need a very simple edit to an existing design like word change or orientation flip, send us an email first to verify, but we can make small edits on a reorder without a new design fee depending on the circumstance.

Unfortunately, no. We require all tags in a single set to be identical. You must order one set minimum per one style you are wanting to order.

Unfortunately, no. Due to our production process, we require all tags in a single set to be the same color.

We accept .JPG, .PDF, .PNG, .SVG, .EPS, and a few more. The only file type we don’t typically accept is .ai. We do not use Adobe software.
We prefer black and white vector graphics, but we can convert most high res color graphics. We do not accept actual photographs or borderless graphics like watercolor, etc.

Sort of. Our predetermined Chicago sizes only exist out of necessity due to the option of adding Chicago screws. We can certainly do custom Chicago sizes. You’d just have to order them in a different way. You would need to order stitch on tags noting “chicago holes” for a custom hole request. And you’d have to purchase your own Chicago screws through the Amazon link above.

How long does my design take?
New design proofs can take anywhere from 1-5 business days. That being said, we use your order date to determine your shipping date.

We use USPS to ship 99% of our products. If an order is unusually large, we may use UPS.

Typically, we do not take shipping company requests. However, please email us if you have an unusual circumstance.
Can I upgrade my shipping to be faster?
Yes! By default, we offer US First Class, US Priority, and International First Class. If you’d like to upgrade to US Express, International Priority, or International Express, please send us an email before placing an order including what you are wanting to order so we can generate you a custom quote and listing if the quote is approved.

Can I cancel my order?
If you contact us before we produce and ship your order, yes, we can cancel it.
My order is lost in the mail. Can I get a replacement or refund?
We issue a replacement or refund (your choice) if your order is deemed lost. To be “lost in the mail”, your order must have both no recent tracking information and have been shipped at least 6 weeks prior.
I don’t like my tags. Can I get a refund?
All custom items are proof approved by the customer before we begin any production work. If we made an error or your tags are not as described in our listing details or proof, we will refund. Of course, reach out to us if you aren’t happy for any reason whatsoever and we will do our best to try to take care of the issue at hand.
